MARCH 2010

TUESDAYS, February 23-March 23, 6:00-8:00pm - Lenten Dinner, Teaching and Compline. The Lenten Series, "Inside the Heart of the Cross: Lives of Sacrifice and Transformation" begins. Paul consistently presents the model of the cross as an ethical pattern for life ito the churches he founded. Come hear how those in our midst build up the community by living this pattern and explore what is possible for you and the community of St. Francis.

WEDNESDAYS - 6:00pm - CONTEMPLATIVE HOLY COMMUNION
- now in the Chapel of the Resurrection. "Come and fill our hearts with your peace. You alone O Lord are holy." The chanting fills the chapel - we are gathered to celebrate Holy Communion in a quiet and comtemplative manner. This is a service of song, silence, word and table. Then we move into the world to offer what God has offered us. Join us and breathe in the peace that passes understanding.

SUNDAY, March 14 - HELP FOR HAITI - Rev. Faith's niece works in the US Embassy there and can receive and distribute items. Please join in this opportunity to help those in need in Haiti.
